A practical guide to comparing value before an in-store purchase. Prices are confirmed only in the store because material grade, size, length, construction and current availability change the final amount.
01
Leather jacket price factors
Leather type, selected hide area, pattern complexity, lining, zips and other hardware, hand finishing and tailoring all influence price. A men’s leather jacket may commonly fall around USD 750–1,500 depending on these details; this is an informative range, not a quotation.
02
Fur coat price factors
Species, grade, density, colour consistency, size and number of pelts, panel matching, garment length and workmanship matter. Two visually similar coats can therefore have very different construction and value.
03
Sable and marten comparison
Sable is generally positioned above marten because of material rarity, grade, density and selection. Short sable pieces may be around USD 20,000–30,000, while material grade, length and pelt count can move the price substantially; always request the current in-store price.
04
Custom-made and alterations
Changing the length, silhouette, sleeves, lining or finish can add material and labour. Ask which adjustments are included, which require a separate quotation and whether completion fits your travel schedule.
05
How to compare fairly
Compare the same material category, length, size and construction. Check lining, seams, closures, documentation, alteration support and delivery conditions instead of comparing only the number on the label.
